An accurate drive is needed here to a fairway lined with trees. The green slopes upwards from front to back and is well guarded by bunkers on the front left and right. Distance control with the approach shot is important to avoid a tricky downhill putt.

This is the shortest of the Par 3 holes. The green is bunkered on both sides and has a mound at the back.

A straight Par 4 over an undulating fairway. An accurate tee shot is needed to avoid the unforgiving trees on both the left and right of the fairway.

This hole is a straight Par 5 with Out Of Bounds running the full length of the fairway on the right side. Undulations conceal the large green which is also protected by greenside bunkers on the left and right.

From an elevated tee, the fairway shapes slightly to the right. The green, which slopes uphill from front to back, is protected on three sides by native bush.

A Par 3 that has a narrow entrance to the green. A greenside bunker to the left and a small pot bunker on the front right of the green are a challenge to the player to hit an accurate tee shot.

One of the most difficult holes at Otatara, a dog-leg fairway shapes hard to the right. Many balls are lost in the plantation to the right, and the Out Of Bounds on the left means that this hole requires accuracy with the tee shot and the second shot. The green is narrow but long, and has a bunker on the right side. Out Of Bounds is very close to the green on the left side.

A straight Par 4 which has a prominent ridge running across the fairway at the landing zone of the tee shot. Bunkers protect the green on the front left and right, and an approach shot which carries too far could find trouble in a flax plantation.

A good closing hole, a tree-lined fairway leads to a narrow green. Tall pine trees often cause problems for wayward tee shots, and the flat green has bunkers on both the right and left sides.
